THRIVE Training & Development Overview
When you join THRIVE you will benefit from a tailored training and development programme designed around graduates needs and our business competencies. The programme consists of multiple learning and development initiatives, each carefully nitted together to maximise your development.
Workshops
During the two year programme, as a graduate group, you will attend five workshops designed around our business competencies. Held offsite and run by an innovative third party training consultlancy, the workshops ensure focussed time on your development in an enrivonment that is both creative and interactive.
Group Projects
To accelerate your development further you will be set business projects to work on with your graduate peers. The projects allow you to increase your commerical understanding as well as put into practice the learnings from the workshops. At the close of the project you will present your findings or recommendations to the Board of Directors, giving you the opportunity to drive change in the organisation whilst building your profile as a leader of the future.
On the Job Coaching
Within each of your rotations your Line Manager will provide you with the coaching and advice needed to support your performance and development within the role. Together you will agree objectives and activities that ensure clear responsibilities and opportunities to broaden your skill set.
Mentoring
For the duration of the programme you will be assigned a mentor that is engaged and committed to help develop you as a leader. Our Mentors are managers with excellent leadership, communication & interpersonal skills. Individuals that are well integrated into the Beiersdorf culture, practices and understand the skincare industry therefore well suited to support your career development.
Continuing Professional Development
You may decide that you would like to start studying towards a professional qualification whilst on the programme such as those offered by the Chartered Institute of Marketing or Management Accounting. The business will consult with you and consider your request alongside the business needs.
The THRIVE development programme is designed to provide you with the tools to drive your career development forward but remember you are in the driving seat!
